One thing no one would dispute is that he loved his children. This was taken while Christi was in college.


If I were guessing, I'd say this was taken Easter of 1976. That's my Granny Rolett's old house in the background. She's gone to heaven too, but that house still stands. Sometimes I drive by it to remember those days.


That's my brother, Jason. You can see the fatigue in Dad's eyes from the long day of cutting trees. If you look close you can even see the sawdust on him. He always had his glass of tea, and now I never drink tea without thinking about him.


As you can see, my dad was a fine looking young man. My mom was the envy of all the girls at her high school.
