She Glows She lights up a room by simply walking through the door And even when she's gone she leaves it brighter than before She has that effect on almost everyone she knows Though she cannot admit it to herself She glows There's something in her smile that chases shadows from my heart That certain way she laughs just seems to drive away the dark She leaves a trail of sunshine everywhere she ever goes Though she may not accept it in her heart She glows She's just unaware of how the heart inside her shines How her incandescent spirit could have lit this soul of mine So everyday I tell her, hoping deep inside she knows Like the beacon on the seashore leading home She glows 3/9/98
